2024  Still raising money to support Bridlington Hospital

The Friends of Bridlington Hospital would like to thank the Freemason Lodges of Old Bridlingtonians, Inquirimus and Londesborough, for their recent donations of £1,220.00 which will be put towards other money raised by the charity itself over the last months.

This means that Bridlington Hospital will be receiving, a bladder scanner, a hoist, a fridge, a model eyeball, and a bath hoist, some more TVs, plus a very exciting interactive rehabilitaion tool. All of this totals over £25,000 and there may even be more equipment purchased but the great news is that the equipment will all be located in various locations  within Bridlington Hospital.

The picture shows members of the three  Masonic Lodges with Carol French representing The Friends of Bridlington Hospital, who would like to thank all its supporters who have helped raise these much needed funds for Bridlington Hospital

The Friends of Bridlington Hospital is a voluntarily run charity with a long history.  Always with the single aim of raising funds to purchase much needed equipment at Bridlington Hospital,  Over £525,000 has been raised by the Friends over a number of years.

Whether it is providing fans for Waters Ward, a full size skeleton for physiotherapy, a bladder scanner for Lloyd Ward, 200 sets of Helping Hands for Johnson Ward or more recently taking on practical projects such as the The Friends Garden Project.

You can read more about the work of the charity on the pages of this website that tell you the history of the Friends and also about donations and legacies, so we hope you will consider supporting this vital work in whatever way you can.
